Fried mirchein is a stuffed green chilli pickle that goes very well as a condiment with simple daal chaawal. Eaten as an accompaniment, it basically elevates the flavour of any desi (local) meal.
Grind cumin, fenugreek, mustard and nigella seeds and mix with other dry spices to make the spice mix.
Cut slits in green chillies and fill them with the spice mix.
Fry the chillies on low heat (covered).
Add lemon juice when done.
