This dry spice raita is another easy-to-make and straightforward yoghurt dip that serves as an accompaniment to any main course. Ammi would always have the dry spice mix ready in her pantry and quickly whip up this basic raita in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Yoghurt
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ½ tsp<

Method

Roast cumin seeds, black peppercorns, and whole red chillies and then grind.

Whisk the yoghurt, adding a little water, and add crushed garlic, salt, sugar, and the dry spice mix.
