Dahi baray (fritters) can be made in various ways by either using gram flour or different lentils. However, this family recipe uses maash daal as the main ingredient for the fritters and is one of my husband’s favourite desi (local) snacks. These soft fritters dipped in seasoned yoghurt make a delicious evening snack served with chana chaat.
