This recipe of yellow split daal is Ammi’s hack for a quick and easy fix to haleem cravings. Cooked with haleem masala, this can be eaten on its own with a spoon or with naan.

Ingredients

  • ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder

Method

Soak daal for half an hour or more.

Cook daal in 4 cups of water with salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, and garlic.
