Every weekend, Abbo used to get the popular Pakistani halwa puri breakfast from a nearby restaurant. This recipe of aaloo ki bhujia tastes very similar to the one that came along with the puris. It is a regular brunch item in our home served with either puris or parathas. This recipe is my Ammi’s, with a secret ingredient added by my sister-in-law, Zainab Baji, which elevates the flavour to another level altogether.
