This aaloo recipe is probably one of the most simple and easy recipes ever. It is a quick and flavourful recipe that is often a regular menu item for a weekend brunch. It pairs perfectly with omelets, shami kebabs, and parathas. It is also the first thing I made when I started cooking.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Potatoes (cut into thick slices)
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ½

Method

Fry cumin seeds and whole red chillies in oil until they turn slightly brown.

Add the potato slices, salt, and ½ cup of water.

Cover and cook on low-medium heat until the potatoes are done.

Garnish with coriander leaves and green chillies.
