The recipe of mixed vegetables is very similar to the way aaloo baingan is made, with just a few minor changes. Ammi also used to add peas to this dish, along with the other vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 125 g Cauliflower

Method

Fry cumin seeds, mustard seeds and whole red chillies for a couple of minutes.

Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt. Cook covered on low heat until oil separates (bhunai) and tomatoes soften.

Add all vegetables with ½ cup of water, cook covered until done
