This bhindi masala recipe is another variation of cooking okra. Even though it has more masalas, they don’t overpower the vegetables’ flavour at all. It is absolutely delicious!
Fry onions in oil until they become translucent/pinkish.
Add fennel, cumin, nigella seeds, and whole red chillies and fry for a couple of minutes.
Add bhindi and salt.
Cook covered on low heat (do not add any water).
When it is halfway cooked, add tomatoes.
Serve with daal and chapati or boiled rice.
