Karhi is a thick and creamy, gram flour, and sour yoghurt curry with soft gram flour fritters (pakoray). This recipe is yet another family favourite which is devoured with boiled rice in our home. This comfort food always reminds me of home and Ammi’s cooking.

Ingredients

Set 1: For Gravy

  • 3 cups Yoghurt (whipped)
  • 2 tbsp Gram Flour
  • 1

Method

Make the batter for pakoray by mixing all the ingredients for pakoray (set 2) with a little water.

Keep the batter aside for a couple of hours.

Mix all the ingredients for the gravy (set 1) in a cooking pot, and add 4 cups of water to it.

Cook it on a high flame
