Minced meat, known as qeema in Urdu, is another popular everyday meal in our home. Ammi would either cook it with potatoes (aaloo qeema), peas (matar qeema), capsicum (shimla mirch qeema) or lots of freshly chopped coriander leaves.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Minced Meat (Beef)
  • 2 medium Onions (finely sliced)
  • 2 medium Potato

Method

Fry onions until they turn golden-brown.

Add minced meat, ginger paste and garlic paste. Fry for a few minutes.

Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt, and fry for a few minutes.
