This recipe is the second version of aaloo gosht, known as qormay wala aaloo gosht. It uses the same spices that are used in the qorma curry. My sister, Rubina, makes the BEST aaloo gosht in the family! She has tweaked the family recipe and taken it to another level.
Fry onions until they turn golden-brown.
Add the ingredients for garam masala (cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, bay leaf, and cinnamon) and fry for two minutes.
