Mutton Stew

This recipe is extraordinary, and one of Ammi’s most popular dishes. At any family one-dish party, Ammi was always asked to make mutton stew. It was also Abbo’s favourite dish. I made it for him when he first visited me in Doha. He couldn’t believe that I had made it. Coincidentally, it is also my husband’s favourite dish and a regular item on our menu. Mutton stew was the first dish that I photographed when I started shooting for this book.
