Dum ka qeema and pasanday (beef fillets) are made with the same recipe. The only difference is that ground beef is used in dum ka qeema, whereas beef fillets are used in pasanday. This recipe uses galavat wherein the meat is marinated with raw papaya.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Meat Tenderiser (or Raw Papaya)

Method

Marinate the minced meat with the tenderiser, ginger paste and garlic paste. Keep aside for at least 2 hours.

Roast all the whole spices lightly (poppy seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, black cardamom, black peppercorns, green cardamoms) except mace and nutmeg, and grind.
