Custard and trifles are made in numerous ways, but this is a signature family recipe. I absolutely love this simple and delicious dessert recipe.
Cook guava on low heat in ½ cup of water with cloves and sugar until liquid becomes pinkish.
Cool the mixture and refrigerate it to chill.
In a different pot, boil milk. When it starts to boil, lower the heat and add sugar.
Dissolve the custard powder in a little bit of cold water, and pour this mixture in the milk while stirring continuously.
