Sheer khurma is a traditional dairy dessert that consists of cooked vermicelli, nuts, and dry fruits. It’s a staple dish for Eid. It would not be wrong to say that Eid in a Pakistani household is incomplete without sheer khurma.

  • 1 litre Whole Milk
  • 1 can Condensed Milk

Method

Mix the whole milk and condensed milk and bring to a boil.

Add sugar, and let it simmer for a while.

In another pan, fry green cardamoms in oil (on low heat), then add the vermicelli and fry until it becomes golden-brown.

Add the vermicelli and dried dates to the boiling milk, and cook for 5-6 minutes until the right consistency is achieved.
