This recipe of sooji halwa is of the halwa that is served alongside the traditional halwa puri breakfast in Pakistan. It is super easy and quick to make and tastes simply delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semolina
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 3 cups

Method

In a pan, add sugar, 3 cups of water, and the food colour. Cook until the sugar dissolves to make the sugar syrup (sheera). Do not overcook it to make it thick, just cook enough to dissolve the sugar then remove from the stove.
