This recipe is one of the easiest traditional desserts to make. This fudgy halwa is my children’s favourite halwa and a regular item on our menu.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Semolina
  • ½ cup Gram Flour
  • ½ cup<

Method

In a wok, fry the cardamoms in oil for a few minutes.

Add the semolina and gram flour together.

Stir them periodically and fry on low–medium heat until the colour changes to dark brown.

Add sugar and milk together, continuously stirring until the right consistency is achieved.

Pour it out in the serving dish (while it’s hot) and garnish with chop
