  • About

Hoisin sauce is traditionally made with toasted, mashed soy beans, sugar, vinegar, and spices. When it’s made in a commercial kitchen, preservatives and artificial colors are usually thrown in, too. We can do so much better! This homemade hoisin sauce is the perfect drizzle over Moo Shu Pork and while it lacks the dark brown color of store-bought hoisin, its kick of flavor more than makes up for it.
