I rarely buy poussin because... come to think of it, I don’t have an answer. There you go, Mother; see - I don’t have an answer for everything! Once in a blue moon, though, I do remember that I’m in the mood for a baby chicken, always, as I now recall, when I’m on my own. The poussin will see me lay a formal little table for one, just so, with a bottle of wine opened and ready next to my place setting.
