This is something I came across in Italy - so simple, and very pleasing indeed, as Italian cooking so often is. Made with beef or game stock instead of the chicken stock suggested here, it is also delicious. Either way, the stock needs to be good and strong. This is the kind of thing I make only for two in order to get the best results. A little synchronization is required so that the pasta and sauce are ready at the same time.
