Opulent, decadent, delicious, warming—these are just a few of the words that come to mind when eating this. You can make this traditional Greek meal in a bowl any time of year; however, I developed and tested this recipe on several bitterly cold Canadian winter evenings. Every time, my house was perfumed with the most spectacular comfort food aroma, making me sit and count down the moments until dinner for the taste test.
