Clams are usually found in the frozen goods section of your local supermarket, while tofu and miso paste are readily available in Asian food stores. Tofu is a soya-based protein – in this recipe I cut it into cubes and add it to the broth, but you can also slice it up and fry it to top a bowl of noodles or a dish of your choosing. The wonderful thing about this soup is that it only takes 15 minutes to make.
