Traditional Basil Pesto

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup pine nuts, toasted
  • juice of ¼ lemon
  • salt and pepper

Method

Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.
