This is a seasonal drink, but you can also make it with other fruit and then add the chia seeds to the fruit juice .The chia seeds will absorb the liquid and expand to keep you hydrated for longer.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangos
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 sprigs fresh mint

Method

Peel and blend the mangos. Add the mango purée, water, mint leaves and chia seeds to a large jug.

Let the mixture stand for 20 minutes to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid. If it is a little too thick for your liking, you can add more water.

Serve cold.
