This is a great recipe to cook with children, especially if they’ve helped to make the pittas to serve with them. Making the koftas is easy, and the high heat in the oven cooks the lamb so quickly, there’s no time for anyone to lose interest and wander away. You can also make the koftas with minced beef or chicken.
