You can bake any bread dough that you would put in a baking tin in a clean, new flowerpot — the pot will give the dough a distinctive quirky shape but also a good, thick crust. It is essential you season the pots before baking the bread in them, which will help keep them non-stick and should prevent any cracking once in the oven (see Cook’s Tip).
