I once served a variation of this salsa on a canapé at a function for the All Blacks in Windsor and everyone loved it. They didn’t win their next game — but I don’t think I’m to blame! At home I have served it on grilled salmon, then used the leftovers the next day on a ham sandwich. If you can’t find a nashi, use a good, sweet crisp pear instead.
