Ingredients

  • 4 green chillies
  • 2 thumbs fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1 heaped teaspoon turmeric
  • 6 shallots, peeled and sliced
  • 10 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 teaspoon ground mace
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon light cooking oil
  • 125 ml(4 ¼ fl oz) water

Method

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blitz to a fine paste.
