This super-easy, non-baked cheesecake produces nonetheless impressive results, as you can see opposite. The winning combination of the bananas with the chocolate digestives is always delicious and popular.

  1. Grease a 21cm (8in) springform cake tin.
  2. For the base, in a pan melt the butter and the sugar together over a gentle heat then stir in the crushed biscuits until fully mixed. Spread evenly over the base of the prepared cake tin and press down firmly. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
