Gingerbread House

Gingerbread - whether as cut-out shapes or as a 3D house - is an all-time hit at Christmas time, with its lovely spice and its possibilities for super-bright decorations. Lebkuchen houses in Germany are a traditional sight at Christmas as are the many types of gingerbread house in the Nordic countries of Europe. The decoration can be as simple or as lavish as you wish. I’ve obviously gone to town on this showstopper of a house but just simple chocolate buttons on the roof with icing outline
