This are some of the most famous Bengali sweets, which are so easy to make at home. Lots of people make them with ready-made paneer (cottage cheese), but I prefer to make fresh cheese from scratch. This method will give you a very soft textured, quality sandesh. There are plain versions, but I flavour it with rose water and dried rose petals for a lovely twist.
