A basic rimmed baking tray, or sheet, that fits into your oven is necessary for many of our recipes. Most home trays are quarter sheets (9 by 13 in [23 by 33 cm]). We recommend also investing in half sheets (13 by 18 in [33 by 46 cm]). Having a few of these handy will make it easier to make large quantities so that you can bake two trays at a time and have two more ready to go into the oven. Nonstick is not a bad idea if you want to skip the parchment paper.
