  2. Wear gloves. A soft-bristle oven brush sweeps debris from the deck. Use long gestures and work from one side of the oven to the other.

  3. Use a hand brush with soft bristles to remove debris from the oven. Sweep hot crumbs into a metal container.

  4. Dunk a rag in warm water. Wring it gently and drape it over an oven brush with wire bristles.

  5. Starting at the back of the oven, move quickly but surely. Use long gestures to draw the wet rag to the front of the oven. Be careful of steam burns.

  6. Draw the wet rag along the front edge of the deck to collect debris from the crevices.
