Use the plastic blade in your food processor for mixing bread doughs. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients in the food processor and pulse the machine on and off at 1-second intervals to form a shaggy ball of dough. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes, then pulse again, using 2- or 3-second pulses, until the dough is smooth and elastic and easily forms a ball.
