Choose your favourites and, if they’re not edible, remove them before cutting the cake. You can paint the edges of the petals with egg white and dip into clear or coloured glitter (I love to do this with white or deep red roses at Christmas). Place 3 or 5 (they always look better when you use an odd number) of glittering roses on a large cake - it looks amazing.
