- Slice each layer cake into 2 layers and place the first cake layer on a ring of cardboard.

- Pipe a ring of stabilized whipped cream along the edges of the cake layer.

- Spread 1 cup of the chestnut filling in the center and up to the ring around the cake layer.

- Place the second and third cake layers, piping rings of whipped cream and spreading with chestnut filling.

- Put on the last cake layer—ideally, the bottom of one of the cakes—and spread with whipped cream.

- Spread the tops and sides with a thin layer of whipped cream.

- With a ¾-inch plain pastry tip, pipe strips of whipped cream over the top of the cake.

- Smooth off the ends of the whipped cream strips with a spatula.

- Decorate the sides with chopped chocolate…
