First there was darkness... and then came the blues.
The Legendary Tigerman is the alter ego of Paulo Furtado, a multifaceted artist from Coimbra. He’s a composer, vocalist and Portuguese blues musician in a man-orchestra style. It’s a concept inspired by the old format of a one-man-band born in the Mississippi delta and lived in the 21st Century with a very particular aesthetic – in a traditional analogue format with bass drum, hi-hat and guitar, joined without too much trouble to microphones for effects, percussion pedals, harmonica, kazoo and drums.
