Pumpernickel

Either a type of rye bread or a type of rye flour. Pumpernickel flour is ground coarse and all the rye bran is left in. Pumpernickel bread uses this grind of flour but the recipes are numerous. See Is Pumpernickel Different from Rye Bread?.
