If I were talented in the musical arts, I would write a song about how much I love spatulas. Wooden ones are great for stirring food while cooking. Metal ones are great for scraping up all that flavorful stuff that sticks to the bottom of the pan. Rubber or silicone spatulas are great for getting every last bit of hummus out of a food processor or spreading brownie batter in a pan. Plastic ones have no place in the kitchen.
