  • About
When I went vegan, my consumption of leafy greens increased exponentially. The salad spinner makes it easy. To clean leafy greens, lettuce, or fresh herbs, fill a bowl with cold water, place the greens in the water, and move them around to release the dirt. Then drain and run them through the spinner to shake off all the water. Lay the leaves between two paper towels or clean kitchen towels and place in a sealable plastic bag. Refrigerate them and they’ll stay crisp for more than a week. That’s why you need a salad spinner.
