Made from crustless white bread that’s processed into dried flakes, panko is a great way to add crisp textures. Whether used for dredging vegetables and proteins (such as in Panko-Crusted Baked Salmon or sprinkling at the end to add more texture (such as in Creamy Rigatoni with Crispy Chickpeas, Spinach, and Lemony Panko), it’s a must-have pantry item.
