Toasted sesame oil is one of the essential pantry items for Asian cooking. Its brown color, noticeably different from regular sesame oil, brings intensely toasty, nutty flavors to a dish. A little goes a long way, so don’t overuse it. But a little dash of it, mixed in regular oil or chili crisp, such as for Chili Crisp Fried Eggs, makes a big difference.
