Barba di Becco, Barba di Frate, Barba di Cappuccino

This salad plant is similarly to chives and, like the herb, has long, narrow green leaves with a slightly sour taste. It is hardly cultivated commercially, but grows wild all over Italy and, in the springtime, can be picked to make a welcome contribution to salads.
