  • About
This is a Roman expression for a mixture of wild salad leaves, including wild mint, wild rocket, dandelion, wild garlic, wild fennel, wild sorrel, usually mixed with traditional greens like endive or lettuce. It is traditionally dressed with extra-virgin olive oil, wine vinegar, salt and pepper. The same word in Umbria means a mixture of dried beans to make soup.
