  • About

The longish but small irregularly shaped leaves of ruchetta have a sharp taste which is exceptionally good when mixed with other salad leaves, as in Misticanza. Rocket is often used as a tasty garnish for Carpaccio, in a salad with tomatoes and mozzarella and as a flavouring for pasta sauces and sometimes risottos. Rucola, the cultivated version of ruchetta, has much larger and rounder leaves.
