  • About

A typical Mediterranean evergreen, this bushy strawberry tree grows wild around all the southern Italian and Sardinian coasts. The round and beautifully red fruit is covered with little red bumps that give it a spiky look. Although it is not used commercially, the fruit of the strawberry tree is both attractive and tasty. It is mostly used as fresh fruit and sometimes for jam.
