  • About
This little tree, common in the hills all over Italy - especially Sardinia โ€” produces a small apple-like fruit that turns from yellow to red, indicating that it is ripe and ready for eating. It is not grown commercially and can only be found in the wild, although it may be sold in specialist fruit shops towards the end of the summer.
