  • About
This is a fairly recent term used to describe all the wild soft fruit one may find in the woods, such as wild strawberries, wild raspberries, wild blackberries, etc. It is also applied to a salad made of such fruit, or sauces incorporating the fruit for use in and with cakes and tarts. The term has even found use in the language of wine-tasting, to evoke flavours reminiscent of woodland like moss and fungus.
