  • About

Canapés are slices of bread that have been cut into small squares, triangles or rectangles, then spread with butter or mayonnaise and topped with a range of meat, fish or salad combinations. They are usually served as an appetizer with drinks. If warm they are known as crostini, and are particularly popular in Tuscany.
