  • About
In Italy it is possible to buy pure alcohol for cooking purposes, mainly to make liqueurs or to preserve fruit. Mostly it is produced from grapes but it may also be made from other fruit, and is distilled to the highest possible percentage alcohol, 95%. It is white and tasteless, and quite dangerous to use because it is highly inflammable.
